Concept
The core idea behind the brain capital concept is income-depedent financing of tuition fees or living costs during studies at selected universities.
Tuition financing funds managed by brain capital support the students during their studies and finance e.g. their tuition fees (e.g. 30.000 EUR). The students pay in exchange a certain share of their salary after graduation (e.g. 7.5% of their gross income for 10 years).
Students only have to pay if they exceed a certain minimum income (e.g. 30.000 EUR p.a.). Thus, this financing model displays a different risk profile than a loan.
